ART INSTITUTE OF PORTLAND
Several handouts with major specific information needed to be combined into a single document to be more efficient. A poster-fold brochure was designed for each major that would highlight the key details about the selected program while also providing a strong visual to associate the major.

The informational side is color coordinated with the website by the
color of the department logos. The
course schedule was designed in a circular format to simulate the
completion of a whole.

PORTUGAL. THE MAN
Portugal. The Man is an experimental, indie-rock band with music infused with visually imaginative lyrics.

The band needed a website redesign that would support their newly released album. Edited and extended graphics from the album were used in the layout to coexist with their new release. Little quirky elements like the interchangeable background and the hands grabbing the navigation links were added to represent the eccentric style of the band.

PIFF 2008
Every year the Northwest Film Center holds an International Film Festival at the Portland Art Museum.

The problem was a campaign that would attract a higher youth turnout.
A gritty hand-rendered illustration was developed to appeal to a younger audience while still being recognizable to the loyal patrons. The film strip wrapping around the earth gives a sense of traveling the world and experiencing the various cultures via the festival.

MOONSTRUCK CHOCOLATES
Moonstruck Chocolate Company is
a hand crafted artisan chocolate company based in Portland, Oregon.

The project was a package design
for a 4-piece of chocolate truffles
that would be consistent with the brand’s identity and be moderately inexpensive to reproduce. The corrugated paper and bow-tied ribbon was used to represent the elegant hand-craft that goes into their delicious chocolates.
